Sinopsis Tarzán es una serie que se emitió en NBC desde 1966 hasta 1968. La serie retrataba a Tarzán como un personaje bien educado, uno que, cansado de la civilización, había regresado a la jungla donde había crecido. El programa mantuvo muchos de los elementos de la serie clásica de películas, incluyendo Cheeta, aunque excluyó otros elementos, como Jane, como parte del 'nuevo aspecto' para el legendario simio que el productor Sy Weintraub había introducido en películas anteriores protagonizadas por Gordon Scott, Jock Mahoney y Mike Henry. CBS emitió episodios repetidos del programa durante el verano de 1969.
